Jakobi Church of Stollberg
The Jakobi Church was dedicated to the saint of traders and businessmen. The first Jakobi Church was built in 1440.
In August 1633 the church burnt down. Fortunately, in 1635 the foundation stone was laid for the new Jakobi Church. The church was reopened on 5th April 1659. The beautiful organ could be taken into operation in 1842.
On 1st May 1878 the breaking of the ground for the tower took place and in September 1879 the tower celebrated its opening.
